Student talking about how Eton Academy (online school) has been great for her by providing her with british eduction

Liza, Grade 9

“My family and I travel a lot, which makes online school extremely helpful. I can continue my studies after moving with the same people, without a sudden change in place/language and curriculum. In many places where we move to, there are few opportunities in schools, which makes online school a helpful and effective way to learn.” - Liza

Meet Liza, a Year 9 student at Eton Academy whose unique lifestyle takes her across the globe due to her parent's work. Navigating traditional schools amid constant travel presented unique challenges to her education; constantly changing schools made maintaining friendships a struggle, and adapting to different curriculums left gaps in her learning. But Eton Academy's online platform has become a lifeline for Liza.

By providing a consistent educational experience, she has overcome the hurdles of constantly changing schools. Online learning allows her to stay in the same lessons, with the same friends and challenges such as changing curriculums and limited education options in some countries no longer hinder Liza's learning journey. Eton Academy's flexibility enables her to study wherever she goes, ensuring her education remains uninterrupted and her friendships flourish.

For families like Liza's, who find themselves constantly on the move, Eton Academy can be a beacon of educational stability. We not only bridge the gaps in traditional schooling caused by frequent relocations but also create a connected and supportive learning environment for students with nomadic lifestyles.

Liza is currently writing her first novel and has a passion for poetry, and she has graciously allowed us to share one of her insightful poems:

‘One, trapping themself

Can never be free

They can’t think for themselves

Cannot listen and see

To free oneself

One must try to see

Why am I here?

What do I be?

One hating themself

Can never escape

For no matter what

They have nothing to save

One only wanting to win

Can never believe

So they'll always lose

For they cannot receive

What can I ask?

How can I last?

Where is my mask?

Is this a test?

If you're always sorry

And you always worry

You are never free

For you don’t believe

That you can just be’
