About Lower Secondary
At Eton Academy, our Lower Secondary Schooling is an exhilarating phase tailored for students aged 11 to 14, spanning the formative years of Key Stages 3 (Grades 7 – 9). Across three vibrant academic years, learners embark on an enriching journey, mastering new concepts and skills across diverse subjects.

Live Online Lessons
All of our classes are taught live through online lessons via zoom. This gives students the chance to engage in their lessons as they would in a traditional school. They can interact with their peers and teachers, ask questions if they need help and answer questions put forward by their teachers.

Expert Teachers
All of our teachers are experienced in online schooling and will provide the best online education students can hope for. They are passionate about teaching as well as inspiring students and helping them to achieve.

Learning Management System
Students and their parents will have access to our state of the art Learning Management System where they can find digital resources and access all of the subject guides and school information they need to complete their studies.​

Pastoral Care
All school years are offered a weekly pastoral care meeting (PSHE) to ensure they are being supported to the best of our abilities.

Report Cards
Report cards are given out at the end of every term and at the end of the academic year, resulting in 4 report cards a year so students and their parents can keep up to date with their progress.

Assessments
Whilst Lower Secondary contains no formal assessment, students’ progress is tracked and measured throughout the three years.
Learners will be set regular tests and assignments to challenge them and to support their growth.

Students will also have end of term assessments three times a year to evaluate their understanding of the materials taught and to compare their attainment with their targets in each subject.
