​What We Seek: Collaborating to Bridge the Education Gap
At Eton Academy, we recognise the devastating barriers that prevent millions of children from accessing education. From the effects of war and displacement to financial hardships and social restrictions, these challenges leave countless young learners without the opportunity to thrive.
Global statistics paint a stark picture: over 244 million children and youth are currently out of school worldwide, including 72 million in conflict zones where education is often inaccessible. Moreover, children from the poorest households are four times more likely to miss out on schooling compared to their wealthier peers, highlighting the urgent need for action to address these inequalities.
How Do We Collaborate?
We work with a diverse network of organisations to develop impactful and sustainable solutions that address educational inequities. To achieve our vision, we actively partner with:
International Charities and Philanthropic Organisations to co-fund tuition fees, provide educational resources, and support students in need.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programmes to align with companies committed to fostering social impact through education.
Government and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to design and implement community-driven, equitable education strategies.
These partnerships enable us to support students who would otherwise face insurmountable obstacles to learning.
Supporting Learners in Crisis and Beyond
Our initiatives focus on empowering students from diverse and underserved backgrounds, including refugees and asylum seekers displaced by conflict, war victims rebuilding their futures, and SEND students requiring tailored support for unique challenges. We also provide opportunities for orphaned children needing financial and emotional assistance, economically disadvantaged learners from low-income families, dropped-out students seeking to rejoin education, and girls in restrictive communities overcoming societal and cultural barriers to learning.
Our Shared Responsibility
At Eton Academy, we believe that collaboration is key to transforming lives. As part of our commitment, we take responsibility for covering 25% of the tuition fees for deserving students. We invite organisations, charities, and businesses to partner with us to fund the remaining costs, ensuring these students receive the high-quality education they deserve.
